South Indian Raw hair extensions are the rawest form of hair on the market. It is known as temple hair. All cuticles are intact and hair comes from one donor and may be colored to the lightest blonde. These donors share their hair as a practice. Each person who donates may have a different daily personal hygiene routine which results in different consistencies per bundle. Southern Indian hair is coarser and may frizz; therefore heavy conditioning is recommended. Although this is the rawest and most authentic hair origin, it is much like our natural hair and requires daily maintenance. With proper care this hair should last 2 years or more Neglect can result in tangling, and locking as natural hair would do without proper care. This hair requires 10-15 days shipping times. Indian hair has an endless life. It all depends on the person. This hair can turn colors with the son due to the live cuticles. It is completely untreated so no 2 bundles are the same.
North India
Northern Indian hair has the same luster and raw qualities as South Indian hair; however, it is much smoother. The cuticles are still intact and this hair may be lifted to the lightest blonde. This hair is less coarse and may require a bit less maintenance, with proper care this hair should last 2 years or more. Regular conditioning routines are recommended for this hair as well because all of our Indian hair is unprocessed with cuticles intact. This hair is an awesome selection for people wanting body, less frizz, and semi-low routines. Northern Indian hair requires 7-19 days shipping time. Some Stock may be available when indicated.
Chinese Processed AKA Brazilian (South Indian Origin)
Contrary to belief, Brazilian Hair was created and given the name, when the hair originated from south India. It is then sent to China for processing which makes the hair easier to manage. Although we all want the best and rawest most natural hair on the market, that quality is the same as the hair we grow on our heads and natural hair naturally requires extensive daily care!
The Chinese have mastered a process that takes raw hair and makes it super manageable and soft. They also can create processed curl textures that will eventually stretch out over time if not properly cared for. The benefit of buying Brazilian hair is that it requires less care and is also more affordable. Longevity is determined by how the person cares for the hair consistently. This hair should last one year or longer. Shipping for this hair type takes between 3-7 business days. In some cases, overnight shipping may be available.
HAIR CARE
1. When unwrapping hair out of the package, gently in the wrapped bundle while unwrapping the ends at the same time while unwrapping. Do this at a moderate speed not to rush and wrap up hair.
2. Wash hair before use, a mixture of smoother and conditioning shampoo and conditioner is recommended for all hair types. For curly hair follow up with curl-based condition.
3. Be sure to cleanse straight or body wave hair well enough to get out all shampoo or conditioner residue for best drying results.
4. When brushing hair it's best to start from the ends and work your way to the root.
5. Always brush out hair up before you wet or wash the hair.
6. For best curl setting results, air dry the hair without touching it.
7. Hang dry for the best results.
8. When washing lace products, please be gentle because the lace products are fragile and are not replaceable if ripped even if unused.
9. Refrain from handling lace products with long nails or sharp objects.
10. Always brush wigs from ends to roots, including the lace part.
11. When cleaning lace-up from residue build-up, use a gentle toothbrush and apply conditioner to the back side of the lace and brush gently. We do not recommend alcohol because all of our wigs or lace products and be applied without glue.
12. Do not over-blow dry Brazilian curl patterns because they will stench out. Similar to training your hair to straighten through blowouts.
13. Always condition your hair or units at least once every 2 weeks.
14. Never put on your wig with the inside wet, it will cause your scalp to smell.
15. Always hang and air dry the wigs.
16. A too-hot comb will melt the lace FYI!
17. Too much alcohol or spritz or hairspray without reconditioning the lace will dry rot the lace.
** As many would say, "Treat others as you want to be treated", meaning, care for your virgin hair as if it was your own. oil it, wash/condition it, brush from ends to root, do not yank and pull when combing or brushing, and most of all AIR DRY. Taking these steps will indeed extend the longevity of your extensions.
